Hi, I’m Carmen—a writer, entrepreneur, and creative storyteller based in Atlanta, GA. My love for writing and reading began early and eventually blossomed into a multifaceted career spanning marketing, scriptwriting, and brand building.
After beginning my academic journey at Emory University, I studied Journalism and Theater at the University of Georgia. This foundation sharpened my storytelling skills and fueled my passion for film, TV, and script reading—interests that continue to inspire my work today.
As the founder of Will Call Copy, my boutique marketing agency, I’ve collaborated with renowned clients, including Calendly, Salesforce, the legendary singing group TLC and baseball icon Mariano Rivera. My career highlights also include stints with esteemed brands like The Home Depot, Delta Air Lines, and Georgia-Pacific, where I developed everything from advertising campaigns to editorial content.
Beyond marketing, I’m deeply passionate about film, TV, and scriptwriting. I’ve served on the Peabody Awards Judging Panel, where I had the honor of evaluating excellence in storytelling. I’m also an adjudicator for the Georgia High School Theater Awards, which holds the Emmy Award-winning Shuler Awards every year, supporting the next generation of theatrical talent. Additionally, I serve as the assistant director for the Renaissance Church of Christ Drama Ensemble, helping bring inspiring stories to life on stage.
I’m also the founder of Homegrown Merch, an Atlanta-inspired clothing line celebrating local pride and creativity.
Whether I’m crafting compelling campaigns, developing scripts, or designing apparel, my mission is to create work that connects, inspires, and leaves a lasting impact.
